Whats Mexico City like? Its big, way bigger than any city in Europe. The legendary mad driving is no madder than most cities but traffic jams are still a problem. The famous pollution seemed to be less than London, lots of vehicles use LPG and the smoky lorries from the countryside don't seem to be around in the city. The people are generally pretty unfriendly with some exceptions (like ones who read this site!), and the quality of the dorises isn't too good either.
Its definitely worth seeing though, but best to go with your own doris and without a car...
